My teaching style is upbeat and positive. If I cannot be excited for my subject areas. Why should any student I tutor?
I have over 10 years of experience in the education field with a special love for tutoring Mathematics. My experience is extensive as I ran my own tutoring business for 3 years doing mostly freelance work in college. The unique thing about my experience is that I have tutored ages 8-28 through my many recipients. I have a knack for getting children and adults excited to learn whether it is through motivation outside the subject area, or showing them that they can in fact do this.

I love working with children. When i was younger I had a job helping my aunt with her daycare business. I have five nieces and nephews, six siblings, two god children and one Daughter. I have always been a patient woman and Nurturing comes natural because I am a mother. I too, believe that all children can meet their potential. They all have to be in an calm secure environment. A Little Bit About Me...

I have earned a BS in Computer Science, with a very strong math minor. It would have been a double major, but third-year theoretical math stopped being fun (and computers were still fun). However, math up to and including first year calculus was both straightforward and mostly fun. I have worked with computers, systems administration and programming, since graduation, but I have lost none of the math I learned as high as high school algebra and geometry and basic calculus.
I enjoy teaching and explaining many things to individuals and small groups, of all ages, although my tutoring experience is somewhat limited. I can communicate in different styles with different people, based on how I see they can learn most effectively.
