Japanese is one of my top subjects! I have a M.A. in classical Japanese language and literature. I also lived in Japan and worked as a Japanese Guest Services agent in Hawaii.

I love to help people communicate. I believe that learning a foreign language is good for the brain, as it creates new neural pathways and helps us to learn that there is always more than one way to solve any problem.
I earned a M.A. in Japanese language and literature from the University of Colorado at Boulder. Prior to that I was hotel concierge in Hawaii responsible for helping Japanese guests and hotel staff communicate. I worked for Nissin Travel in Columbus, Ohio as a travel agent for Japanese clients. I received a B.A in Japanese language and linguistics from the Ohio State University in 1994. I was an exchange student in 1992 at Kansai Gaidai Foreign Language University. All of these experiences have helped me develop high level proficiency in Japanese language and a deep understanding of Japanese culture.

A Little Bit About Me...

I received my AAS degree in Accounting from Morgan Community College in December 2009. Also, I am available to work full-time employment immediately. I have extensive experience in various office procedures and secretarial functions.
I am mother of two. They are 11 yrs and 6 yrs. I love to go walk, fishing, and movie with them. I really love to have any kind of activity with my children and enjoying it!! Also, I like to read a book after my children went to sleep.

A Little Bit About Me...

Since graduating from the University of Albuquerque, I have worked in the New Mexico Governor's Office and been a guide for a Santa Fe outdoor museum. I also worked at the History Library, which is part of the Museum of New Mexico's Palace of the Governors Museum. In 1993, I was trained in English as a Second Language by Literacy Volunteers of America. I taught English in Japan in 1995. I volunteered as a teacher with the Emily Griffith Opportunity School's ESL program for three years. I have had numerous private ESL students over the past 17 years. Most recently, I spent five months tutoring a German couple in English. I now help two Chinese American boys with their reading and arithmetic.
