From teaching preschoolers how to read to teaching high school students how to survive (and enjoy!) Algebra, I find it rewarding to discover how individual students learn and then help them to succeed in their efforts. I love kids and am able to relate to different age levels and needs. The bachelors degree I received in English Literature and Spanish allowed me to spend two years serving as a United States Peace Corps volunteer in Ecuador. There, I became fluent in Spanish and decided to return to the United States to pursue degrees in both Elementary Education and teaching English as a Second Language.
