I began learning German and French when I was 16 and in High School, then immediately continued my studies in College at University of Northern Colorado, where I am currently a double major in the two languages. I will be a Senior this year. Within my experience, I have traveled to Germany thrice, two of those times to study through the college. I have also studied abroad for French in Québec. My comments on tutoring ADD/ADHD : I have a Masters degree in special education. I also have 10 years of experience in the middle school level working with kids with ADD/ADHD.

I use positive rewards systems in my classroom. I also feel effort is the most important element of success when working with students with disabilities.
I have been teaching special education for 10 years. I started in Henderson, NV where i taught in a co-taugt setting. I taught English, reading, and science. As a recent CSU-Pueblo graduate with a mathematics major and a double minor in both physics and economics, I feel I have plenty of education for this position. While never having been paid by an actual tutoring service, I have helped friends and other students through challenging courses ranging from algebra to calculus and even statistics for a very reasonable fee.
I’ve never bought into the argument that some kids just can’t do math.
