I have always been a tutor of sorts. I love to teach kids because of the sparkle they get in their eyes when they finally understand what they are being taught. Each child have a different learning style so I try to work with them to see what works for them. I have worked with kids who have ADD and the gifted. As an undergraduate at Oral Roberts University, I volunteered through our American Chemical Society student affiliates as a tutor for college freshman and sophomore level chemistry classes. I also worked a work-study job as a teacher's assistant for organic chemistry labs. I also worked privately for a local family in tutoring their high school student in algebra and science.
