My comments on tutoring Grammar : My two undergraduate majors were English and French. As a result, I am quite the grammarian.

My comments on tutoring Grammar : I can teach grammar, and I can also edit your work for grammar and punctuation.

I assess the student's level of mastery by listening to parents, communicating with the student (in whatever appropriate way needed) and then doing some basic testing. Once the student is assessed, I design a learning environment and activities that coincide with the student's specific strengths, while adding some elements of challenge. I tend to work in a very focused way for 10-15 minutes, and then add in tactile activities (like Bannana Grams for example) for 10 minutes or so, in order to maintain the student's attention. Children and youth who are struggling to read and write get patient assistance to learn the words correctly. My comments on tutoring Grammar : One of my favorites. Im very helpful with learning and correcting the grammar technique in english writing. I am also very professional with editing and proof reading works of writing needing to be turned in for college.

I am very proficient with teaching my students to understand rather than just finish the activity or problem. I pay very close attention to the learning style of my students. I make sure they are focusing and learning rather than copying my teachings.

Experienced Educator Available To Tutor

I taught high school English for three years. My students ranged from far below basic to advanced. My students consistently showed improvement in their standardized test scores and over 95% of my students passed the course. Also, Over 95% of my sophomore passed the CAHSEE. In addition to my high school experience, I have been tutoring adult learners for the past three years, becoming the program manager two years ago.
