Experience Summary

I have had 22 years total of tutoring experience, worked for six different supplemental educational services tutoring providers, worked for three different online tutoring companies, and have eleven years of experience as an ESL Teacher. In addition, I have the content knowledge of the academic subjects, am confident, and interested in what I am tutoring. My goal with the parents is to help their child work towards improved grades, increased confidence, and performing at or above the grade level. As for adults I am knowledgeable about the subject matter and course material. Also, I do Free Talk lessons as to whatever you're interested in talking about during lessons. I have a Bachelors Degree in Community Studies, four Associate Degrees which are as follows: Associate of Arts Degree in Liberal Arts & Sciences, Associate of Arts Degree in Social Sciences, Associate of Science Degree in Business, and Associate of Science Degree in Retail Management and Merchandising, three certificates (Early Childhood Education Assistant, Early Childhood Education Associate Teacher, and Basic Business), and three certifications (120 Hour TESOL Certification, 120 Hour TEFL Certification, and Excel Certification). Basically, I have worked for 7 different supplemental education service providers in person and conducted tutoring online.

Teaching Style

I work with all different types of learners such as visual, auditory, kinesthetic, and read write when it comes to students. I make sure that the children and adults will understand the course material and subject matter they are working on of their own academics.

My Hobbies

The hobbies that I enjoy are spending time with my family, helping out within the community, scrapbooking, going out with friends, traveling, talking on the phone, reading and learning new things, teaching students with their academic subjects, and learning materials by educating myself.

Other Comments

I only conduct tutoring online either individually or in a group setting and charge by the half-hour and hour. My lessons are held on Zoom or Google Meet and am in the Pacific Standard Time Zone.
