I have taught school for 28 years. I have taught K, 1st, 2nd, 3rd, 4th, 5th and 6th grade. I attended a business college for executive secretary and medical coding. I have worked in the summers at temporary services in between teaching at various secretarial jobs. In addition, I received my medical coding certificate this summer. I am a very positive person. I have relatively open teaching style because I know that not all people learn in the same way. I try to adapt to the individuals needs based on their abilities, however on the whole I teach by showing the students what to do and then having them perform the action while answering any questions they may have. I have spent a lot of time using Microsoft Word and Excel for a number of application over the past ten years and feel I have become very proficient in using it.
