My comments on tutoring Study Skills : Experienced classroom teacher of all ages with a focus on middle and high school aged students.

I am a level II certified secondary teacher with a Masters in Education from the University of New Mexico. I currently hold a secondary teaching license in Science & Health in both New Mexico and Colorado (I am not certified in Math). I have over 15 years of teaching experience along side a unique background working in the vast field of science. I have served the Albuquerque public school community for the past 6 years with the last 3 years teaching chemistry & health at a New Tech, PBL (Project Based Learning) school. I hold a Doctorate degree in Jurisprudence and a Bachelor of Science Degree in Business from Oklahoma City University. I have five years middle and high school teaching experience with Rocky Mountain International Academy in Montrose, Colorado. I have taught the following subjects - Latin I, Latin II, Latin III, U.S. History, Colorado History, Great Books, Civics, Economics, Rhetoric, Debate, Drama, Computer Spreadsheets, and Business. Past graduates of the school and my classes have found success in colleges such as Air Force Academy and Colorado School of Mines.
My teaching style is very interactive in the Socratic method. I act as a guide for teaching much as a catalyst for learning.
