My comments on tutoring Homework Help : Experienced teacher of all ages with a focus on middle and high school aged students. Over 6 years experience providing after school study groups and one-on-one student help.

I am a level II certified secondary teacher with a Masters in Education from the University of New Mexico. I currently hold a secondary teaching license in Science & Health in both New Mexico and Colorado (I am not certified in Math). A Little Bit About Me...

I hold a Doctorate degree in Jurisprudence and a Bachelor of Science Degree in Business from Oklahoma City University. I have five years middle and high school teaching experience with Rocky Mountain International Academy in Montrose, Colorado. I have taught the following subjects - Latin I, Latin II, Latin III, U.S. History, Colorado History, Great Books, Civics, Economics, Rhetoric, Debate, Drama, Computer Spreadsheets, and Business. Past graduates of the school and my classes have found success in colleges such as Air Force Academy and Colorado School of Mines.
My teaching style is very interactive in the Socratic method. I act as a guide for teaching much as a catalyst for learning. The emphasis in all of my classes is in communication skills and building character. As college prep classes are structured to teach note taking and research and writing skills.
