I have taught violin lessons to students of all ages and levels for 20 + years. Letters of reference are available upon request. I am also a graduate of the Manhattan School of Music and have been critically acclaimed as a Violin Solo Recitalist in New York State. As a professional violinist I have performed at Broadway shows, for free lance professional orchestras and more in the NY area and currently I manage and perform with an ensemble called "The Capricccio Ensemble" for small concerts, weddings, and private functions. In addition to performing, I have extensive experience with computer audio/music recording and production. In that time, I have toured the world playing in several different musical styles. Music, and working with students who enjoy music is my passion. My experiences have shown that some students can be shown or told, while others understand through strictly listening, or even by doing or saying nothing! Francois Rabbath demonstrated how correcting intonation could be as simple as moving a persons' finger. By doing so the musician remembers their finger was in the wrong spot and where it should be placed through muscle memory!
