I am capable of adapting to the learning skills of the individual students with whom I affiliate. I substitute taught for nearly 3 years before I enrolled as a graduate student. I have several ways of motivating students to perform their best, and believe it is critical that they understand that they can master the methods of academic success. In the past 2 years, I have been a Masters in Counseling student, attaining a 4.0 GPA. I work with troubled students from 15-25 hours per week, and I have excellent grammatical and spelling skills. I am a publshed author, and I have an excellent grip of many general areas of education. My specific strengths are research and writing, as well as scholarly counseling psychology, and the law. I have a Bachelors, Masters, and Juris Doctorate, and can write on any number of subjects. I will receive my Masters in Mental Health Counseling in 2012.

I enjoy working with kids of all a ages and skill levels! My passion is working with kids who are special education, or those who need more one on one time. Math was always a struggle for me so I enjoy working with kids who need extra support with math/algebra. I believe each child learns in their own way and it's extremely important to find their learning style and build from it. Each child has the ability to learn we just have to see things through their eyes in order to educate them! I currently work with special education students at a local school. I also work at an after school program to ensure educational activites during the after school hours.
