I recently graduated college with a BA in Human Biology, and I am currently in the transition between undergraduate school and medical school. To be a well-rounded academic, students must learn to use critical thinking and problem solving skills to work through problems and issues based on broad concepts and rules. I like to take a holistic view to my teaching style and see what the children need out of a teacher. Sometimes I prefer to work visually and hands on, where other times I feel the children learn best from reading and going through the book. I like to be patient and take a more relaxed approach with children so that they feel comfortable with me. I have worked for the past 6 years with children in school settings. I did a lot of tutoring work during my school counseling internship. I tutored 3 different middle school girls who needed help in all subjects.
