I went back to college to pursue a career in education. While in college I tutored basic math skills to college students and worked with middle school students under a grant program called GEAR UP. I am in my fourth year of experience in the secondary education classroom. The trend now in SC is to hire only secondary teachers with a Masters level of education. As a graduate student earning a Master's degree, I have always worked very hard. In high school, I graduated with honors and throughout the journey of both degrees, I have always maintained at least a 3.5 GPA. I have always excelled in math. A Little Bit About Me...

I just recently completed my first semester of teaching University 101 at the University of South Carolina. This course allowed me to find out how much I enjoy teaching.
