While completing my BS in engineering, I spent two years tutoring math, physics, and optics. During my senior year I was also able to teach a portion of two terms of the freshman optics class. During the last four years I have worked as an aerospace engineer, and as a private contractor. I began teaching when I was homeschooling my own children. They joined a weekly co-op and I was asked to teach high school level writing, public speaking and music appreciation for co-op students(not all at the same time).
