A Little Bit About Me...

I certainly strive for having my students to understand the concept of the subject, rather than memorizing every step of a given process. Understanding the basics will give you the tools to solve or analyze a problem for a possible solution and that will lead you to more successful results.
I had the opportunity of tutoring college algebra and basics of statistics during 2003 and 2004 while pursuing my Master of Business Administration degree at Bellevue University in Bellevue, Nebraska. Also had the opportunity of being teacher assistant for geometry during my Junior year while taking my bachelor degree. Currently I manage a retail store for a Fortune 100 company and I just finished a concentration on Finances to add to my MBA degree.

A Little Bit About Me...

I have found that there is nothing so rewarding as that moment when a subject 'clicks' for a student. By staying positive and adaptive I believe it is possible to guide students to finding solutions on their own. I work at finding new ways to approach common stumbling blocks and try to show students how applicable math is to everyday life. If it had not been for a few extraordinary teachers, I may not have felt it possible to accomplish what I have. Teachers should be positive and inpirational and I always strive to attain that goal.
I received my B.S. in physics and went on to work at a Community College tutoring math. I enjoyed this work immensely and received excellent reviews from the students. As an engineering student, I scored A's in 4 Quarters of Calculus, 3 Quarters of Engineering Physics and 1 Quarter each of: Linear Algebra, Differential Equations, and Static and Dynamics. Throughout college, I often tutored other classmates in math, physics, and statics and dynamics to which they and other upper-classmen would marvel. "wow, you really understand this don't you?".
