I began my career in accounts payable and took advantage of my employer's offer to pay for my college degree. It was worth going to school nights and working during the day as I was promoted to Accountant shortly before I graduated. I've since worked in various places and have had the opportunity to continue learning. The more knowledge you have the more valuable you are to employers.
