My comments on tutoring Algebra : Have taught ALgebra 1 for several years.

I love hands on style of math, making math an approachable concept to many students who have a phobia about math. Students love by doing, using their hands in conjunction with their brains. Many manipulatives are available on-line today for use by the teachers to help students usher into the 21st century skills.
I have 20+ years of teaching experience,with approximately 12 years at a school level. I have also taught Algebra I at a high school level. I have also taught at several colleges, given private tutoring to many students over the years. I generally teach through visual aids and through very thorough explanations. If the student doesn't understand the first time I explain something, I will explain it in a different way and will keep explaining it in different ways until he/she fully understands what's being taught.
