My comments on tutoring Algebra : Algebra is the foundation of higher mathematics. After studying calculus and better learning how functions operate, algrebra is easy for me to explain.

I like students to understand how the material they are learning can and is being applied to everyday situations. So I often will talk about the big topics that have been covered explain why they are useful and then show the student how to perform various calculations or apply the nessecary logic to solve problems.

My comments on tutoring Algebra : Have taught ALgebra 1 for several years.

I love hands on style of math, making math an approachable concept to many students who have a phobia about math. Students love by doing, using their hands in conjunction with their brains. Many manipulatives are available on-line today for use by the teachers to help students usher into the 21st century skills.
I have 20+ years of teaching experience,with approximately 12 years at a school level. I have also taught Algebra I at a high school level.
