Let the young teach the young

Even though I am young, I do know how to convey teaching skills with the "up-to-date" mind set of today's generation. The main experience I have is helping fellow school mates and family with the problems they are having with school work. I did finish high school with a diploma. My comments on tutoring ACT : chemistry and math

I received a B.S. in Chemistry and an minor in Mathematics and eventually took enough hours to hold a teaching certificate to teach secondary Math and Science. I taught Chemistry for 16 of my 19 years and also Math, Physics, and Digital Electronics for a few years. I learned a great deal about various teaching modalities through my years of teaching and I believe I can be a successful tutor in Chemistry. Presently, I am enrolled in a Masters program in IT/Project Management and the knowledge I have gained in this program will help me in the area of tutoring. I recently completed two years of teaching Physical Science in a secondary school in Namibia as a Peace Corps volunteer. Prior to that I earned a BS in Computer Science which included a mathematics minor and courses in physics and chemistry. I tutored throughout my time in the Peace Corps, my undergraduate studies and my high school years.
As a classroom teacher I quickly learned to engage each student individually. I prefer tutoring because I can tailor my instruction to a specific student.
