My passion is to teach, although retired, I will, always be a teacher, and that is why I want to teach. Due to the experiences I have had, I have become very proficient in my field. I will tutor or teach, by developing an individual learning plan, which begins with informal assessment, establishing, tangible learning goals, and targets implementation, and then, concludes with a final assessment to make sure benchmarks were reached. I adapt to the student. In my experience with several students is that they all need a different approach. I like to use examples to explain things to my students for example a video game or sports. I am a patient teacher but demand all of a student's attention.
My education and experience has led me all over the world providing companies with my skills as an analyst and consultant. After earning my BAs in English and History, I wanted to explore the world. I began teaching them in the first grade and have continued up to, and including, the present time. My son is now a high school freshman and my daughter is in the eighth grade. During this time I helped start a homeschool cooperative.
