As a graduate of Wright State University, I was taught to be motivated to achieve the goals which each class helped me achieve. I have earned a bachelor degree in History. This degree has given me the knowledge base which is needed to not only understand a period of time but also be able to correctly write with proper grammer. While I was tutoring History, it helped the child understand the concepts of the battles of the Civil War easier when I showed a map and used plastic army men. I love children and I love teaching children. I teach using a variety of methods. I have learned that children have different ways of learning. Some children are visual learners so I used plenty of visual aids when teaching these children. Some children are kinetic learners so I made sure that I used manipulatives when teaching these children. I believe that all children have a "best way" to learn.
