My comments on tutoring Musical : I have played the piano for over two decades. I have received music theory training, and I have learned to play various instruments such as the trumpet, trombone, saxophone, clarinet, drums, violin, and viola. Also, I also attended dance class for a year.

I use a combination of both online games and Websites and hands-on manipulatives. First, I like for the student to take multiple intelligence tests and then I know how best to help the student. The information I gain from the analysis is extremely informative. It tells me where the students' strengths lie such as some students are musically inclined, some are visual learners, auditory learners, some are mathematicians and various other styles. Then, the style that they learn through the best is how I would teach the student; this is based on Gardner's Multiple Intelligence. Second, meeting the standards are essential in today's education system. The four C's of the 21st century is also necessary for students' to learn. They are collaboration, communication, critical thinking and creativity.

I believe in constructivism. Students learn more when they make their own learning. They need to see the real world application of the material and how it applies to them. I try to create tasks that are hands-on, use authentic materials, and encourage students to collaborate with others and think outside of the box.

A Little Bit About Me...

My goal as a tutor is not to simply give children the answers they need to finish homework assignments. I encourage them to learn independently and strive to achieve their educational goals. I try to make homework and school fun rather than a chore. I feel as though I have the skills it takes to make a difference in the lives of many children.
I’ve recently graduated in from Albright College with a Bachelor’s degree in Environmental Science.
