I love teaching children of all ages. I believe that everyone should have equal opportunities in acquiring a good education. My opinion is that all children do not learn in the same ways. Thus, some children may require additional assistance, such as tutoring. I believe that in these cases, children should be in a one-on-one learning atmosphere with their tutor, so that they get the right amount of time, patience, understanding, and attention needed to help them.
I have studied Spanish for over ten years and German for over five years. I have a BA from UCF in foreign language combination. I taught grades 3rd-5th in a self-contained, reading, math, and language skills and middle school grades 6th- 8th. After Hurricane Katrina, I moved to Pensacola, Fl. I taught regular ed. 3rd grade, all subjects,special ed., 3rd-5th and SRA reading classes, high school grades 9-12, career ed., health, and reading to behaviorally challenged students.
