For my last employer, I interpreted Spanish, German, and sign language for cast members and guests on a daily basis for almost 16 years. I believe learning should be fun and creative and that children should have an environment that is friendly and caring to learn in. My degree in Psychology has a strong basis in Behavior Analysis. This is what I will be getting my Master’s degree in starting in the Fall. My teaching style mainly focuses on positive reinforcement. I use positive reinforcement in order to increase a behavior of choice. The behaviors we want to increase can range from working more math problems, reading more, increase doing home work, increase studying, etc. An instructional method will be used as well in order increase their knowledge of the subject and then positive reinforcement will increase their confidence and motivation which is necessary for success.
