I use verbal and visual techniques for teaching and prefer to add an element of kinetic learning for tutoring. I explain the material in the book, preferably after the students have read the chapter. After obtaining a list of objectives, I like to offer a pop quiz to set a baseline. Thereafter, topics are divided in number of days available for preparation. Most important topics and topics not well understood get time and individualized priority. Offer a challenge test at the end.
