I'm a very visual and verbal person. I like to explain things by writing/drawing them out, saying them out loud and creating analogies between things to help students better understand a concept. I believe the comparison between a concept and something the student can relate to allows for the student to comprehend what is being taught. I'm currently a high school tutor for the Socorro Independent School District. I currently tutor English 1-4 and social studies, economics and government. I'm very proficient in my job and do my best to make sure my students understand the concepts. Have helped to lead writing workshops for both middle and high school students.
