Since then, I have been employed by Defiance Area Youth for Christ, and it has been my privilege to assist young people to acheieve their fullest potential in every aspect of their lives. During my employment with YFC, I have been allowed to substitute teach in schools throughout Defiance County and have done so over the last ten years. As an undergraduate student I pursued a degree in Mathematics because I feel that math is a solid base for sound qualitative, and analytic decision making. I am now a father of (5) and a baseball coach. I am pursuing my masters in Mathematics as a continual learning lifestyle. My talents are in de-mystifying mathematical processes that are inherantly written to confuse young learners.
I teach as I coach, individually and with praise. Mathematics is a language, nothing more and nothing less. I teach it as a language.
