I work hands on with young students. I believe this theory helps students see first hand how and why things occur. For older students, comprehension questions while reading help them understand and visualize the reading material. I am a certified K-5 teacher. I have been teaching in the classroom for 6 years and tutoring for 8. I have taught every grade level from K-12th grade. I also have a lot of experience working with children with special needs. As far as experience goes, I've just spent four years as a professional writing major at Kutztown University. I don't have a teaching degree, but I do have experience working with children at Over the Rainbow Nursery School. I would be in classrooms of different age groups ranging from new-borns to 5-year-olds.
