Experience Summary
I am a Speech and Theatre educator with a strong background in English. I have worked with young people over the past twenty years and have been privileged to see many of them benefit from the Speech, Theatre and English training they received in my programs or by tutoring. In this era of instant communication, many of my former students have reached out to me to let me know how meaningful the work was for them and how it motivated them in their lives and helped them to find their true callings. For this, I am profoundly grateful.
Teaching Style
Committed, engaging, appropriately direct, friendly but professional, caring, insightful, compassionate, skilled, motivating. I use appropriate humor and candor to motivate. I do have a behavior policy of mutual respect which sets a protocol and from which all parties mutually benefit.
My Hobbies
Waterskiing, film watching, chocolate making, macrobiotics, homeopathy, Eastern and Western Astrology, Walking, Yoga, dancing.
Other Comments
I find people interesting. I believe we are all connected and need to support and learn from each other. The teacher/student relationship should be sysnergistic.
