A Little Bit About Me...

I have yet to professionally tutor anyone, but I have a lot of experience aiding others with homework and questions. I have always received high grades in all of my courses, with over a 4.0 G.P.A. in high school, so I am very knowledgeable and would be able to assist in many subjects. I am also in my third year of undergraduate studies, so I am still learning more and can possibly have access to other resources.

I have been tutoring stduents since 2007. I have tutored in all different grade level, I have worked with elementary students, middle school, high school, and college. I worked in the math tutoring center at my college for a couple of years, getting a lot of experience there. Don't tell me 2+2=4. Tell me WHY 2+2=4.

Although I wish I could count the endless amount of time I spent playing teacher as a child, I know parents are looking for more expierence than an eight year old and her dolls. I have tutored children, ages ranging from eight to fourteen, off and on for three years. I have expierence and am personally more comfortable helping with English and math centered tutoring for any grade level but am able to help with other elementary level classes.I've had the privilege to help with the passionate and the difficult and have been able to produce satisfactory results for all parties involved.
My teaching style differs with each child. A Little Bit About Me...

When I was a high school student, I tutored pre-algebra, geometry and algebra, Shakespeare, World Literature, and Earth Science. I managed my own clients and improved test scores with every client. During the summer of 2005, I tutored mentally disabled children in addition, subtraction, multiplication, and division. I attended the University of Idaho and have received a B.S. in Mathematics. While there, I worked at the Polya Math Lab, tutoring college algebra. I continued to tutor on my own during college, and have tutored in all forms of vector calculus, from methods of integration to 3d modeling. I have also tutored Abstract Algebra (group and ring theory), Combinatorics, and Number Theory. I am particularly good at walking people through proofs. Over the past 15 years or more I have mentored and coached hundreds of individuals. The primary areas of focus were math, statics (Statistical Process Control, Design of Experiments and Data Analysis) and Physics (Thermo Dynamics, Electronics and Modeling Processes plus problem solving).
