More About This Tutor...

Throw out my high school year I was in a program called “Learn and Serve”. This program consisted of going to the closest elementary school for an hour a day and be a teachers aid. Therefor, I help any student who was having difficulties. In some cases would even help teach a lesson if the only adult in the room was a sub teacher.
I find diffrent ways to help children understand what they are learning in a fun way.

Make Learning Fun!!

I teach writing / grammar students based on their level of understanding vocabulary. Learning how to figure out the meaning of vocabulary words is key in successful writing. Word origin and grammar usuage is how a student builds their writing skills! Elementary Tutor

A Little Bit About Me...

I currently have a bachelors degree in sociology with a minor in elementary education. During the past 4 years and working in the early childhood education industry I realized that many teachers were not getting the proper training that they needed to receive to help the children that they are serving. Once I realized this I decided to work on my Master's degree in Early Childhood Education in hopes that i could be an Early Childhood College Professor and teach students the ins and outs of the early childhood industry. While getting my bachelors degree I tutored in subjects such as reading,writing, math, and science as well as art.

As a graduate in special education, with emphasis in speech and hearing, I helped students improve language skills and articulation deficiencies. I used their curriculum and texts. A Little Bit About Me...

I have loved education since I was a child, and being the daughter of two educators gave me a lot of early learning opportunities. I have a Bachelor's of Science in Education from Northeastern State Univeristy. I was a para professional for 5 years and worked with special education classrooms, then I taught for 5 years. I taught Pre-K and 2nd Grade, and I loved it.
