I majored in Biochemistry and Pharmacology at the UNAM in Mexico City. I worked as a substitute teacher for the Broward County School System from 2006 until 2007. When I moved to St Lucie County I obtained a position within the St Lucie County School System as a substitute teacher until 2008. I have taught kindergarten through 12th grade students.
I loved working with younger children. I found that 1st grade though 4th grade students tend to be my favorite group. At this age they are extremely willing to learn new skills and subjects. Becoming a teacher was the best thing I have ever did. Working extensively with children is such a rewarding honor for me. Children who gain confidence through their education is essential of all aspects of life. Making a difference in a child's life and giving them the desire to believe in themselves is the foundation to my career path.
