I obtained a B.S. in Biology, with a concentration in aquatic science, from Wittenberg University in 2006. During my undergraduate studies, I tutored elementary students in math and science twice a week for two years. After college, I moved into the marine science profession. In August of 2008, I started teaching High School Biology I, Earth and Space Science, and Physical Science to students in Polk County. In addition, after school hours were spent with two students taking AP Biology classes. Both students achieved a 4 or higher on their placement exams. Organic Chemistry is one of my top subjects! Organic Chemistry was my favorite classes in undergrad, I am very passionate about it!

I graduated from Berry College in May of 2021. I graduated Magna Cum Laude with a Bachelors in Science with Honors. My major was Animal Science with a minor in chemistry. I have worked on several research projects that are in the process of publication or being prepared for publication. I never made anything below an A on my physics and chemistry classes. My specialty is in animal science, chemistry, and physics. However, I can teach lower to middle level mathematics. I prefer a one on one teaching program and encourage questions from my students to try to follow their needs rather than an arbitrary program of lectures. I encourage my lecture students to read the material before to make the lecture more understandable and allow them to use questioning to enlarge their understanding.

Then, if the student understands and feels comforatable performing the task, I'll let them try it with me, being there to help out as needed.
