I believe that learning repertoire that the student is interested in is the fastest way to develop a passion for music. Hello! My name is Evan Levine and I am currently pursuing a Masters degree in music performance at the University of Michigan. Originally from New Jersey, I have been teaching students between the ages of 6-18 for over 8 years in both private and group settings. A Little Bit About Me...

I feel that children learn best through rich experiences with a variety of materials. Children learn better when instruction is "hands-on" rather than listening to a teacher lecture. The most learning possible can be achieved if variety of senses and "multiple intelligences" are stimulated. Each child is different, and by working one-on-one with them, I will be able to find out what works best for each child.
