I have always loved numbers and they are my passion. As a student at FMCC I was able to pursue my goal and assist others along the way. I tutored mainly math at FMCC for about 1.5 years while still attending school, but also tutored in a variety of subjects ranging from english to science to business to accounting. Tutoring should be a tool used to complement traditional education. When tutoring there is little help in providing information to the student the same way that the teacher presents it. Tutors may also fall into the trap of simply giving the student the answers. For these reasons I prefer an holistic approach to tutoring.
