I am currently a Senior at Bethel College. I will recieve a bachelor's in Psychology at May 1, 2011. I have been tutoring since the summer of 2010. I tutored pre-algebra this summer during my internship at Bashor Children's Home in Goshen Indiana. I am currently tutoring College Pre-Algebra at Bethel College. I enjoy working with young children and high school kids. I believe that it is important to get anyone I teach to be active in the education they are recieving. I graduated in 1999 with a BA in Mathematics and studied with a concentration on secondary education. After being away from math for ten years, I recently returned to school (Western Michigan University) to study for my Master's Degree in Statistics, which is my preferred field of expertise. I really enjoy working with children in various subjects and activities. I believe all children have a different way of learning and can all find a way that best suites them. My teaching style is based on how the student learns best and what their interests are. I like to incorporate my excitement to teach because students tend to be more interested in learning when you are interested in who they are.
