Italian is one of my top subjects! I'm a native Italian speaker with 7 years of experience teaching the language and a great passion about it.

I have been teaching Spanish for the last 5 years in several colleges, including Georgia State University, Perimeter College and Emory continuing Education. All throughout college, I tutored English, Spanish, and German, and taught ESL for the Foreign Language Department After college I completed a TEFL Certification course in Barcelona, and taught private lessons in Spain I then taught English and Spanish at a language school in Sicily, then I taught English and Italian at a language school in Montenegro. I then returned to the States and tutored in the Metro Schools of Nashville until I moved to Atlanta.

I have been teaching Italian language and culture for beginners and advanced/higher levels. For Academic purposes I can tutor as far as grammar, spelling, writing and academic composition, listening, speaking, reading and pronunciation. For travel and leisure purposes I usually focus on basic elements of conversation and reading. Group lessons as well as individual tutoring available.

I truly enjoy the challenge of helping others learn, and I get along well with children and adults of all ages. My priorities as a tutor are first to relate to my student, second to help them become interested in the material so that they want to learn it themselves, and third to aid them in their understanding of the subject.
While at Emory my diverse interests led me to study in many areas. I have a deep level of understanding and enthusiasm for math and science that I would love to share. My formal tutoring experience includes spending a spring break helping inner-city middle school students at a small private school in Philadelphia and tutoring a young friend of the family in pre-algebra for part of a summer.
