I earned my B.A. from Tulane University magna cum laude in classical languages and philosophy. I received Tulane's oldest prize, the Judah Touro Medal, for excellence in the ancient languages and philosophy. The University of Chicago awarded me a full-tuition fellowship to its Master's program with a concentration in classical languages and philosophy. Having completed the program I am now a doctoral candidate, though on leave, in a dual PhD program (classics and philosophy) at Cornell University. Believe in yourself, and you are half-way there!

My teaching style depends on the student. I am comfortable with trying different study methods in order to figure out why my student is having trouble with a particular subject.
I have a Bachelor of Science in Biology and a minor in Chemistry. I love being able to help students feel comfortable with the material they are studying. I have tutored numerous times throughout college, and would like to get back into tutoring students because I find it to be rewarding. After a few minutes, I ask them what they think is the best way to approach the problem.
