When I tutor, I let the student come to me with the problem, and instead of doing it for them, I will break it down into smaller steps they can do. Throughout college I volunteered to educate school age children about egg/chick development in schools around Columbus. My first job out of college was to educate children and adults in high need areas about food science and nutrition. I then worked at a few different food science jobs while taking classes part time toward a masters in education and volunteering to tutor adults.
