I love teaching sign language because it is a beautiful language that is easy for people to learn, especially children. Even babies can learn how to sign! I like to teach through repetition and practice. The only way to learn something is by learning the concept and working with it over and over again until it is stuck in your mind. I often achieve this with flashcards and organizing by colors. Colors can help categorize different concepts by associating aspects of a certain concept with one color, and aspects of another concept with a different color.

A Little Bit About Me...

I began my ASL education in high school. In December of 2014 will have completed my A.A. in American Sign Language at Montgomery College in Rockville MD. During these years at Montgomery College I have volunteered for many interpreting opportunities.
