I specialize in teaching children 6-12 but can just about show anyone how to play an instrument. I start with teaching them to read music and then we graduate to learning to play music.
I've been playing music since I was 14. I taught myself how to play every brass instrument plus tenor/alto saxophone. By the time I was ready for college I had several options thanks to band. Music has helped open so many doors for me and I would love to spread my knowledge to your child and help them to achieve their goals! Music can also help your child in other subjects they might have trouble concentrating in. So not only will your child come out playing their instrument better but their class work will improve too!

I am a recent graduate of the University of North Texas with a degree in Music Education. While at North Texas, I taught middle and high school-aged students the art of music. During the summer I graduated, I tutored elementary and middle school-aged children reading and math.
