I graduated from college with certification to teach grades 1-12. Do to the job market at that time, I was unable to get a full time teaching job. I substituted and then tutored for 2 years. I then worked various jobs working with the public. Although much of work experience is not in the teaching field, I have worked with people in many ways to reach their full potential and can relate to them on a level that they will comprehend.
I believe in using a multi- modality approach to teaching. The more senses involved, the more likely one will remember. I graduated from the University of Akron with a degree in chemistry and alongside I had taken many biology classes as a prerequisite for pharmacy school.At UA I skip a couple of math and physics classes and got placed in Calculus II and Physics II. I attended pharmacy school for couples of years, where I took some advance biology classes and was very involve in group assignments and group study.
