It is my firm belief that if students have the confidence in themselves to believe they can do well, they will succeed. I believe that there is just not one way to teach because there are many different learning style. Teachers must identify their students' learning styles and find ways to incorporate them into the lesson. I agree with Gardner's Theory of Multiple Intelligences. Some students are auditory learners, while some are visual. Some students are bodily-kinesthetic learners, while some are naturalists. Other students may be interpersonal or intrapersonal learners. As a young student I was very motivated to attend medical school at a young age. I received a bachelor degree, BS, in biology with minors in both psychology and chemistry. After graduating with my undergraduate degree early, I unexpectedly found a passion for teaching. Currently, I am working towards my masters degree, MS, in biology.
