I work well with students in a non threatening manner. It is my goal to make students feel at ease and comfortable in asking any questions they may have. I am able to explain mathematics in a variety of ways, so I can find out what works with any student. I emphasize the logic of math concepts in addition to just memorizing procedures. I have been teaching and tutoring in all levels of math for many years. I am a licensed teacher in the State of Indiana. Having enjoyed mathematics and especially calculus in high school, I decided to major in Mechanical Engineering so that I would be able to enjoy the many math courses that were required. I excelled in Calculus during my studies at Pensacola Christian College.
