From the time that I was in high school, I have been working with children. I began teaching through my church as their kindergarten-first grade teacher and did that for approximately 3-4 years. I then went on to college to earn a degree in Elementary Education. After college, I joined a non profit tutoring program in my home county. While I was a member with this program I tutored a middle-aged woman who was going to get her GED, but did not know how to read.
