I like to make learning an interactive process as I believe students are more likely to retain what they learn when they have an active role in their success of understanding the material. Although I establish that I am the one in charge, I try to create a relaxed environment where the student feels comfortable enough to be open with their struggles, concerns, and questions. I don't give away answers, but am there to help the student realize that they have what it takes to find the answers on their own. I am a native to Northern Italy, the place where I spent my primary and secondary school years. I moved from Europe to Kentucky last year, and I am now a sophomore Chemical Engineering student at UK. Italy is a very diverse place, from Italo Romance languages of Southern and Central Italy to Celtic italic languages of Northern Italy, with the addition of scattered German linguistic minorities.
