Three years ago, I changed my career from being a Human Resources professional to pursue my lifelong dream of teaching school and coaching. My passion for education blossomed while volunteering as a tutor with Somali refugee children in Pittsburgh, PA during college. I worked with families in their homes to develop English reading, writing, and speaking skills.
