Sign Language is one of my top subjects! I'm working on becoming an interpreter; because I'm not an interpreter yet I do not consider my self an expert. I've participated in several Deaf Culture events. I completed all of my ASL classes at the University of Florida under a deaf professor. Although I graduated with a B.A in Linguistics I was very involved in ASL, and will continue to be in my graduate program as a Speech Pathologist and future Audiologist.

I'm personally a visual learner so I tend to teach the same way I learned. I think repetition is important when learning and retaining ASL.

Sign Language is one of my top subjects! I have four years experience in American Sign Language interpretation and I'm very knowledgeable about ASL vocabulary, grammar, slang, idioms, and how to teach them in an understandable way. I fellowship with the Deaf every week so I know the current signs used in daily conversation.

I've been studying American Sign Language (ASL) for over five years. I've taught ASL multiple times at community and church classes with great language success. I have snout four years of ASL interpretation experience ranging from church services to classroom settings to events to guided tours and more. I'm currently continuing my ASL interpretation studies at Valencia College. I'm fluent in this language but I also speak Spanish and conversational French.

How they learn affects how I explain it to them or how I show them. If they are having trouble understanding, i will model their question and answer it correctly.
