Teaching Style

I'm personally a visual learner so I tend to teach the same way I learned. I think repetition is important when learning and retaining ASL.

My Hobbies

I enjoy spending time with my yellow lab. When I'm not at home I enjoy participating in deaf community events and I enjoy going to Farmers Markets.

Proficiency: Experienced, and one of my top Subjects!
I'm working on becoming an interpreter; because I'm not an interpreter yet I do not consider my self an expert. I've participated in several Deaf Culture events. I completed all of my ASL classes at the University of Florida under a deaf professor. Although I graduated with a B.A in Linguistics I was very involved in ASL, and will continue to be in my graduate program as a Speech Pathologist and future Audiologist.
